Verdict

Tough race with most runners a realistic chance. NAMASTE (1) came from worse than midfield on the corner to get up for fourth in an impressive return last start over 7f at Rosehill. Given four weeks to recover from that outing. Goes up 5.5kgs but drops sharply in grade and should give a tremendous sight. WOOTTEN IT BE NICE (8) fought hard but just came up short last time out over 6 ?f at Muswellbrook. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and needs this sort of trip now. FLYING ARTISAM (2) showed a fine turn of foot to easily put away a Wyong maiden field over 6 ¾f recently. Progressive three-year-old from the Waterhouse/Bott camp who looks ready to take this next step. STREET VANQUISHER (4) has only raced twice, scoring over 6f here on debut then going within a whisker of making it two from two over 6 ½f at Newcastle last time. Plenty of upside and the extra 1f helps the cause. ALAMAGAN (7) is up in grade but a top four chance after three runs back from a spell.
