RIVENDELL (4) returns from a lengthy spell. Ploughed through the heavy (9) conditions on debut with a tough Maiden victory over 6f at Wyong last August. Looks primed for this with the two trials and drawn to stalk the speed. TRANSGRESS (5) found the 5 ½f a touch too short first-up with an even fourth over 5 ½f at Gosford. Won over this trip on debut and expected to have come on strongly for this. Genuine contender. HEY JUDE (9) resumed with a dominant first-up victory defeating inferior opposition over 6f at Nowra in the heavy (9) conditions. Tricky map today and minor claims look best. ME ME (7) local mare kept fresh for this. Back to her preferred trip after finishing fifth from the awkward gate over 7f at this track in BM64 class. This looks easier and improvement is anticipated.
