THYME TO GO (1) is a handy filly back from a 19-week spell. Opened last prep with a fourth in Saturday company at Randwick then placed on two occasions at the provincials before being turned out. Two trial wins in October look to have her pumped up for a big return. BORN TO FLY (6) started $2.50 favourite on debut over 5 ½f at Rosehill three weeks ago but after racing wide without cover she failed to come on. Draws a nice gate here and can turn things around. ROSIE ROUGE (3) was a $1.7 million yearling purchase who debuted over 5 ½f at Warwick Farm in February 2025 and failed. It has been a stop-start operation since but three very good trials since 11 September suggest she is back on track. EXTREMELY CHIC (2) returns after a five-month spell. Ran two nice races at Canterbury in the maiden prep, albeit on wet tracks. Should be competitive at this level. Waller's first starter ATHENARA (4) trialled well at Rosehill recently and is one to keep an eye on.

Main Track Only

A horse entered for main track only (MTO) is one hoping the weather forecast or track conditions will move the race off the turf course and onto the main track. They are scratched the morning of the race if the conditions stay dry.

Synthetic Surface

A racing surface comprised of silica sand and fibers, such as recycled carpet or spandex. The mixture is then sealed with wax.
