SHANGRI LA IMPACT (4) talented mare who resumes for the O'Shea & Charlton yard. Faded quickly from the wide gate when seventeenth over 1 ?m in the G1 Qld Oaks at Eagle Farm last June. Was a total forgive on that occasion and gets her chance with the two searching trials. Adept in all conditions and the lugging bit goes on. Go close. COMMANDING ARTIST (2) deep into the prep and due for a change of luck. Sat on the good tempo with a narrow second over 7f at this track. Back in grade and sure to be thereabouts again. SMART CRY (5) bounced off her good first-up fifth at Beaumont (Newcastle), with a gritty nose victory over 6 ¾f at that course. Looks to have further upside and gives the impression she will get the trip. MAH ALI (9) is capable on her day and deserves a victory. Not that far away from the low draw with a decent fifth over 7 ½f at this track. Sticky map but stays in the mix.
