Verdict

JELLICIOUS (2) snagged back from the wide draw and never in the contest when a plugging sixth over 6 ½f at Randwick in this class. Gets the right set-up here and can tag the good tempo. WEEPING WOMAN (1) heavily supported into favouritism on resumption when raced handy for a dominant win over 5 ½f at Rosehill. Goes equally as well second-up but will have to do a bit of work early to get across. Sure to be thereabouts. SPIRIT OF WEALTH (7) slow into stride from the sticky draw and charged late when taking ground off Weeping Woman. Strips fitter and worth noting Berry hops off to ride Jellicious. Stays in the mix. MADRINA (5) racing in good order in easier company and brings a solid set of figures here. Blinkers go on and shapes a value chance. AMREEKIYAH (8) never comfortable on the rain affected tracks in stronger grade last preparation. Fitted with the one trial and undefeated first-up.

Second run back. First-up after four months favourite, tracked the speed and boxed on steadily, won by 1.2 len at Rosehill F&M Bm78 November 8 over 5 ½f defeating Spirit Of Wealth carrying 129lbs at $3.20. Previously second-up 2nd of 12 at Rosehill F&M Bm78 on June 14 over 6 ½f, on a slow track, neck behind Sacred Rocks with 128lbs at $3.60. Excellent return but doesn't get the same set-up today, each way.

Most recently made ground from midfield, 2nd of 9 at Rosehill F&M Bm78 on November 8 over 5 ½f, 1.2 len behind Weeping Woman carrying 121lbs at $4.20. The start before that won by 2.5 len at Hawkesbury F&M Bm64 October 23 over 5 ½f defeating All Too Wild carrying 134lbs at $1.70. Will not find this easy. Fitter now and can return to winning form.
