COUPLES RETREAT (9) undefeated in two runs at this course and in career best form. Covered ground from the wide gate when a tenacious third over 5 ½f at Rosehill in F&M BM78 class. Lloyd sticks and comes here in peak condition. ZARAGOZA (7) underrated mare trained locally. Massive effort first-up when coming from last on the turn for a narrow third to Sunrise over 5f at Randwick. Will get the right tempo to figure prominently. BUNDEENA (3) slightly disappointing on resumption after he failed to close off when fourth over 5f at Randwick. Expecting more in this easier contest from the good barrier. CASSIEL (6) has a sound fresh record and went quickly through his grades last time in. Given the two good trials and shapes as a leading prospect.
