Verdict

PERCHANCE (7) is high on confidence after scoring at Moruya last time out. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Stick with her. ANTHROPOID (1) produced a good effort when third last start over this trip at Warwick Farm, beaten 1.1 lengths after he made late ground. That followed a win at Wyong the start prior. Ideally placed and can make amends. DUCK FOR COVER (2) was good when resuming here but was a touch less effective last start when sent out favourite. Rise in trip suits third-up and he can give a bold sight. GREEN WINTER (5) launched his career with a win then couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1m at Newcastle. Worth plenty of thought back to this level. BROADWAY STREET (3) just missed the bob when resuming, then got too far back here last time but was finishing strong. Fitter and gets the blinkers applied. Can give this a shake.

Horse Racing Basic Terms

Paddock

The area where horses gather before the race to be saddled and paraded for the public.

Tack

The equipment the horse wears, including saddle and bridle. A jockey typically has their own racing saddle, placed on each horse they ride just before the race.
