ASK DI (10) unwanted in betting on debut ($20), when she covered a stack of ground early to finish a close-up sixth over 5 ½f at Wyong in a Super Maiden. Tricky gate again in a weaker contest. Top-three contender. VINGT NEUF NOIR (14) excellent return from the low draw when she stalked the speed to go under narrowly when second at this course and distance. Likely to go back from the gate and swoop late. TERRA LUMINA (7) shouldered the 130lbs first-up for a respectable fourth over 5f at Canberra. Has further upside and the cross-over nose band goes on. Expected to take a hand in the finish.
