MAGIC BLAZE (2) has not raced since closing strongly to get up for second on debut over 5 ½f at Gosford in June. Trialled twice in October to get ready for this assignment. Looks to have more talent than most of these so a successful return looks on the cards. The obvious threat is ZOURRIFIC (6) who also returns today after just one run back in June, a handy third over 5 ¾f at the Kensington track when a short-priced favourite. Peter Snowden pops the blinkers on him today which may add a little spark. CHUMPAKIDD (1) has been handy enough on straightening but not quite finished off in a couple of easier 5f maidens recently. This is a step up for him but the claim helps as does the race fitness edge. PARISIAN HEIRESS (7) is a Written Tycoon mare on debut for Beer and Carpenter. Won a recent trial here and draws a good gate so should get every chance. SLIPSTREAM SARAH (8) is another local on debut. Did enough in a recent trial here to suggest she can play a role.
