PIERRO LAD (7) returned from a six-month spell with a respectable fourth over 5 ¾f at the Kensington track. Found that trip a little too sharp so 7f second-up looks a perfect fit, particularly back at provincial level. MR REIBY (5) showed a nice change of gears in the run home to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner on debut last time out over 6f at Moruya. Locally trained three-year-old who should take a lot from that experience. Looks a serious threat. RAPID REVENUE (8) struggled over 5 ¾f on debut at the Kensington track then appreciated the step up in trip last start when in the money at this track. Goes over a further ½f today which can bring about further improvement. WORLD WIDE (9) raced handy and held his ground to finish third when resuming over 1½f at Gosford recently. Best figure last prep was achieved when he got out to this distance. Sure to be in the finish. MY COUNTRY BOY (6) returned in good order at Newcastle last time and can build on that effort.
