MIDNIGHT DYNAMITE (11) opened this prep with a couple of wins then tried in vain to run down Cool Jakey last start over 6 ½f at Randwick. Has a wide gate to contend with but has the gate speed to cross. Genuine sprinter who will be hard to roll on current form. RESTONICA (15) was six weeks between runs when a game fourth to Soothsayer over 6f at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago. Strips fitter and will be more effective out to this trip. Big chance with a pinch of luck from the wide draw. BOOMTOWN BOSS (9) came from last on the bend to finish fifth in the Group 2 Moreton Cup at Eagle Farm recently. Gets back but over the extra ¾f here will be hard to resist. SOOTHSAYER (16) cruised home over 6f at Eagle Farm last start at the third run back from nearly three years off the scene. Has won three from five at this trip so another win is not out of reach. ESJAY (14) hasn't been far away in much better races of late. One to watch for late in the piece.
