Competitive. SPICY WINGS (6) had been busting to win before a plainer effort on the heavy track at Coffs Harbour. That was a Showcase over at 66 level and this suits a lot better. Will push forward and has the blinkers on for the first time. They can spark that bit extra. POWER ACE (3) resumed at Kilcoy over 7 ½f and rode the speed before being pipped late. Has to skip over from a wide gate but the 4lbs claim is handy and the tongue tie is on for the first time. In the premier stable and fitter has to be considered. CLEARLY GEORGE (7) has been racing well and it was a solid effort here last time stepping out to the trip. Will push forward from an awkward barrier and will need some luck. OCEAN DIVA (10) was well in the market and likely choked down in the Ocean Diva race. Has trialled since and the tongue tie is back on to address the issue. CHANCE WITH WOLVES (14) can use the inside barrier and is going well enough to feature.
