Ditto SURF SOUL (2), who finished a whisker ahead of the above in the same contest. Will have to do it the hard way again, and that could prove the difference. SAVAGE RIVER (5) draws even wider but is busting to win and comes back from a mile with the blinkers on for the first time. Keeps Newitt and will be right in it if things go his way. Stablemate NANDI CLAN (12) is fourth up and it wouldn't surprise to see more from her returning to a sprint.
