AU - Hawkesbury - Race 4

The free rolling PORTSMOUTH (4) has his hoof on the till after a couple of promising efforts of late. Led for the judge with a nice advantage and looked home but found one better in the dying stages of an 1 ?m Class 1 here last start. Has raced three times over today's trip for two placings. Cherry ripe at the fourth run back and looks the goods. DEAL N' DASH (2) has raced twice this prep, both times in town, and performed okay without threatening. Looking for this sort of trip now and back in this company he gets his chance. MY SHAREENA (7) raced on the speed and showed tremendous fight but just came up short recently over the mile at Newcastle. New to this trip but she looks up for the challenge. RUSKANA (10) has found form at his last couple of appearances, both over 1m at the provincials. On trial at 1 ¼m but he is going too well to dismiss. AIRLINER (1) has not won for four years but is capable of sneaking a minor prize at odds.
