READY MADE HEIR (5) returns from a layoff of five months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 5 ½f at Port Macquarie. Has shown plenty of potential without breaking through but today looks her day. SPICE TRAIL (11) has not raced since being well supported on her debut on April 23 over 4 ½f at Newcastle when she finished sixth. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. OUR NOBLE BOY (9) resumes from a spell of four-and-a-half months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5f during the Wagga carnival. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Illawarra Grange. Rates highly and is one of the main hopes. SILVERWATER KID (3) raced on the pace to the bend before fading to finish sixth over this journey at Kembla Grange. Better with that run under the belt and can play a more significant role this time.
