RUPESTRIS (9) lightly raced gelding with a stack of upside. Stalked the good tempo when a fighting second over 6f at this track. Near his top for this and expected to go close despite drawing out. MAHMOA (8) showed solid improvement at her first run back when sitting on the speed for a narrow second over 7f at Casino. Will roll forward in a race devoid of speed and gets his chance to get off the mark. STRENUOUS (10) showed good early speed before fading in the straight to run sixth over 7f at Ballina. Expecting the winkers can do the trick third-up. STAR CHEVAL (13) returns from a let-up. Slow into stride on when resuming with a plugging fifth over 6f at Murwillumbah. Place prospects look best.
