COL DU TOURMALET (3) first two career starts had merit then he never handled the heavy conditions with a disappointing tenth over 7 ½f at Kembla Grange. Ordered to trial with a slick win over 6f at Warwick Farm. Blinkers go on and will find this more to his liking. Go close. PACIFIC MICK (6) deep into the prep and he gets another chance with the blinkers being applied. Had to work hard early and the effort told in the straight with a fading seventh over 7 ¼f at Illawarra Grange. Senior rider goes on from the right draw. INCREMENTAL (4) two latest runs in town have been solid and a win looks imminent. Kept finding with a sound fourth over 7f at Randwick Kensington in a Super Maiden. Genuine top-three contender. MISS LEEWAY (8) finally found a bit of form at start eight with a gritty second over 7f at the Sapphire Coast. Trained locally and can go on with it now.
