Verdict

The fleet-footed HAWKER HALL (1) is clearly the form runner. Led all the way for a decisive win in a Magic Millions Class 6 over this trip at the Gold Coast two back. Just failed to hold out the talented Kerguelen last time when off a five-week freshen up at Rosehill. Should do his own thing up front and book his ticket to Randwick on 4 April. CLANCY (7) raced near the speed and battled on well for third at his latest appearance over 7f at Rosehill. Has decent 6f form so won't mind coming back in trip. Nicely drawn and should be prominent for a long way. MOGUL MONARCH (2) is back from a 16-week spell. Has won twice from four tries when resuming. Bolted in at Wyong in a recent trial so Kim Waugh looks to have him screwed down for this. SHAGGY (3) has chalked up three near misses in a row. Needs a bit of luck from a tricky gate but is going too well to rule out. Hard to know how good the unbeaten BANJORA (4) is but we will know after this.
