Verdict

SUPER CHOICE (9) fifth-up for this with the blinkers coming off and deserves another chance with Rachel King taking the reins. Went out keenly and was found wanting in the straight to finish seventh over 5 ¾f at Illawarra Grange. Can slide across from the sticky gate and return to form. HARLEX (1) doesn't have to improve much to win this after coming out of a solid rating race with a tough third over this track and trip in BM72 class. Likely to go back from the draw and be ridden for luck. Can take this out. KOSRAE (7) is starting to hit her straps and is chasing her third straight win today. Speared across from the gate with a tenacious win over 6f at Illawarra Grange. Tricky map today and place best. KING LARRY (2) drops in trip with the claim and never comfortable in the heavy going when sixth over 6 ½f at Scone. Hard fit now and can handle the class rise.
