Worked hard from the wide draw and knocked up with a dismal sixth in a C1 at Newcastle. Top three contender. FRANKIE'S BOY (6) is the clear danger after leading and being beaten only a 1.5 lens at Goulburn on soft ground with the 128lbs. His third-up fitness and the Waterhouse-Bott polish will make him hard to catch. POWERFUL PRAYER (2) deep into the campaign and brings the strongest established staying record, having gone close in BM64 grade and shown he is effective around this trip. Well drawn in a weaker race and stays in the calculations.
