DON'T DOUBT DARCY (1) is the one to beat off a single debut run that had more merit than the bare fourth suggests, having raced keenly and wide before being beaten just over three lengths as a well-supported favourite at Kembla Grange. The easy Warwick Farm trial win gives him a sound platform to return from a long break, and the exposed form in this line-up is not deep. QAYED (4) brings the strongest class reference. Made his debut in Open races at the Heath and Caulfield, and his Warwick Farm trial win plus Tyler Schiller booking make him a genuine threat despite being new around 5f. HIT THE RUNWAY (6) is the key debutante, drawn to get every chance and coming through a solid Warwick Farm trial for a stable with strong first-starter output. Tongue-tie goes on and no shock to see her get the better of these. WILD COURAGE (10) has been competitive in small fields and was only beaten a length and a half first-up at Newcastle. Ready to aim up from the rails gate.
