Verdict

LONDON'S RASCAL (7) comes into this on the fresh side but her form last campaign makes for good reading. She was racing well in stronger races before the break, with the firmer deck on offer today a big tick for her chances. Can sit handy and be very tough to fend off. WEAPONIZE (10) is the main danger, having been sent out favourite when third here over 5 ½f and held up at straightening, with another sound Geraldton effort two back in Class 2. ENCOSTA DE MONEY (2) brings the clean winning form after beating Diamas here over 1m as favourite before the break. Resumes here, but he profiles as a big improver this time in and he can go to the next level without surprising. DIVER DAN (5) is more speculative, but the move to this state, the new stable, and the excuses from Victoria give him a place in the winning mix if he improves sharply fresh. ELLOVAMAN (9) is building nicely and can feature in the finish.

Main Track Only

A horse entered for main track only (MTO) is one hoping the weather forecast or track conditions will move the race off the turf course and onto the main track. They are scratched the morning of the race if the conditions stay dry.
