Verdict

RULE THE REALM (2) showed early speed from an outside draw last start and dug deep to finish second, beaten a long neck, over 5f at Albany. Three back he went close here in a CL1 and has the tongue tie on for the first time. Keeps Faithfull, and the on-pacer can go one better. SOLAR CREST (10) resumed from a spell over 5 ½f at Ascot, beaten 2.5 lengths. It was a decent effort from the 11 gate, and she draws inside today. Finds easier company and can make the finish with the extra fitness. COSTA STAR (4) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at the track. Jumped a $2.5F and will get a softer run from a softer gate. Deserves another chance. WILD GOSSIP (7) didn't do a bad job resuming in the same race, settling last from the outside barrier. Has the inside gate today and keeps the 4lbs claim.
