AU - Gatton - Race 8

LUKEY BLUE (8) was ridden quieter than usual last start over 6 ¾f at Ipswich and produced an excellent turn of foot to score by a big margin. Has raced well at both visits to Gatton and she doesn't look too badly treated on 56kgs. Big chance to get the job done again. BRUTAL LASS (6) has settled a long way off the speed in her two runs this time in work and struggled to get involved. Fitter now and drops a little in grade. Expect the pace to be on and she is going to prove tough to hold out this time. KING COBAMA (4) has been safely held in two runs since collecting his maiden success over 6 ½f three back. Capable on his day and worth another chance. BEST COFFEE (2) finished third in a similar race here two back. In the mix on that form. THIEF BY NIGHT (9) produced an eye-catcher to get up for third over this distance at Inverell last time. One to watch for in the concluding stages.
