Ex-Victorian SUPIDO'S CHOICE (4) returns from an 11-week break in new hands. Lost form last prep, although in fairness against better fields than he meets today. Did enough in a recent Gold Coast trial to suggest he is ready to play a key role. DRUMS OF WAR (3) has not appeared since a tidy win over this distance at Toowoomba in late April. Loves these sharp contests and from a good gate should be right there at the business end. MR PLAYTIME (9) is a good fresh performer back from a five-month break and a gelding procedure. No surprise if he made a huge contribution. I AM GONE (11) scored two back over 4f at Kilcoy then led and was brave in defeat at the Gold Coast over a longer trip last start. Sure to have plenty of admirers on the back of that form. BETTERINDANUDE (5) may have needed the run when resuming last time so give him another chance.
