ELIZAHRO (7) held on well to finish third last start over 4 ?f at Toowoomba, beaten a neck when resuming as favourite. Fitter and rates the clear top pick in this line-up. Goes close. LULU A NATURAL (6) ran a much better race second-up over 5f at Nanango, beaten 2 lengths. Fitter again and likely to be in the finish. ROUGE ANGEL (10) is a Harry Angel filly making debut. Placed in both trials and can hit the ground running. EXCESS CAPITAL (4) wasn't far away here fresh and can feature with further improvement. LAKE OF FIRE (5) showed early speed from an outside draw and boxed on well for fifth over 6f at Ipswich. That was a richer maiden and has since proven a hot form race. Second run for the new yard here and another bold showing is expected.
