Verdict

DO A LITTLE DANCE (1) showed good tactical speed then battled on well for second on debut over 6f at the Sunshine Coast back in February, his only appearance to date. Two recent trials should have him forward enough to pick up where he left off. ANDER'S DREAM (4) is back after an 18-week spell for a second prep. Improved as the maiden campaign progressed, concluding with a close fourth after leading over 6 ¾f at Ipswich. Big chance while fresh with blinkers on for the first time. XPLAIN THIS (10) is a Dubious filly on debut for the Sears yard. Scored at her only trial appearance on 24 July at Grafton. Looks a ready-to-run type. GIN 'N' JUICE (12) is first-up since finishing last of four in the same race as stablemate Do A Little Dance at the Sunny Coast in February. Likely improver this time in work. ARMAND (2) debuts for the Munce stable. The trials haven't been earth-shattering but early money suggests a bright start is on the cards.
