OUR GIRL SCARLETT (7) ran below expectations last time at the Gold Coast, but there was a lot to like about her nose defeat at Ipswich prior. Fitter again and is well placed in country grade. MISS LEANA (6) resumes and has some nice pieces of form. She's placed 2/2 fresh and won a recent Toowoomba trial by 5L. Maps well, and a bold return is likely. BRAVE LIKE LILY (4) showed good speed over 5f at Toowoomba on debut, but felt the pinch late. Sure to improve and should be right in it. BETTERINDANUDE (1) is back from a spell. Debuted with a third, beaten 1.75 lengths over 4 ?f at Toowoomba at his only appearance to date. Has a tricky gate, but the claim is handy, and he will be naturally improved.
