DANCING TROFFEA (11) is a former Victorian who showed good speed in two runs down there but in her first run this area was heavily bet and drifted back. Found the line strongly though and just kissed the frame. Fitter for it and looks well placed to atone. PENROD (5) has had three runs for the new yard and hasn't been disgraced in tougher company. Drawn much better this time and looks well placed. SHEMAKESMENERVOUS (12) has been overdue for a while, placing in her last four including all three for the new yard. Drawn to enjoy a soft run and rates to feature. BUSH BATTLE (3) has been freshened since a solid fourth at Rockhampton. Close to a win and should run well despite a wide draw. FIGO (4) makes his debut for a local yard. Has trialled twice for the former Lees yard but trained here now and is worth watching for a move.
