It's hard to knock the form of WALSH BAY (2) who has strung six wins together on the bounce and is racing with a lot of confidence. Hoop Thornton has been on board for five of those victories and sticks solid. Should be right there when the whips are cracking. GALIFIANAKIS (5) has hit the top-five in 11 of his past 12 outings and is usually thereabouts. Is a two-time winner here and anticipating a big run this time. MANZOICE (1) has placed three from three over this distance range and gets the reliable Waller/Maloney combination. Top-three prospects on best form. YET HE MOVES (4) got the job done at Doomben last time out and looks ready for the step-up in trip now. Can figure in the finish.
