GIVE GIGGLES (3) has been far from disgraced at her last four runs, all in open company or stakes level. Last appeared at this level on ANZAC Day and scored over 5f at this track. In the right race to return to the winner's enclosure. WITHOUT PARALLEL (16) has been freshened up since finishing powerfully to be beaten under a length over 5 ½f at Rosehill six weeks ago. Has raced here at this distance twice from a win and a placing. Good fresh performer who is right in contention. BOSSED UP (5) started favourite but was a bit flat-footed over 5 ½f at Doomben a fortnight ago, eventually getting up late for third. Better off back at 6f so give him another chance. HELL (1) is back after a 21-week spell. Distance specialist who has a decent first-up record. Trialling like a horse that is ready to fly. POCKET FULL (8) is not without claims dropping back from open company last time out.

Main Track Only

A horse entered for main track only (MTO) is one hoping the weather forecast or track conditions will move the race off the turf course and onto the main track. They are scratched the morning of the race if the conditions stay dry.

Exercise Rider

A rider built much like a jockey but is employed for exercising and working out horses in the morning.

Superfecta

A wager involving choosing the first, second, third, and fourth horses in one race in the exact order. A superfecta box involves paying more to ensure they can finish in any order in the top four spots.
