RESTONICA (3) settled up on the pace then proved too strong in the closing stages of a 6f open handicap at Doomben last start. Has raced over this longer trip five times for three wins. No reason he cannot keep the ball rolling in this open affair. SIR ARTIE (11) has attacked the line with gusto in his two runs this prep in Sydney, finishing just behind the placings on each occasion. Drops a massive 7kgs on the last run and should be cherry ripe now. LISZTOMANIA (5) impressed first-up over 6f at this track then struggled in the Ramornie at Grafton more recently. Deserves another chance in this easier race. CASPERNOVA (12) came from last on the bend to get up for second behind Restonica over 6f at Doomben last start. Sure to prove hard to hold out over the extra 1f down a longer straight. ANEMACORE (1) has been competitive of late at stakes level. Big chance despite 60kgs from a wide alley.
