Verdict

The $200,000 Listed Gold Edition Plate. GRAFTERBURNERS (1) was a dominant winner over this track and trip when resuming before saluting again at Doomben last time out. Winning hoop Graham sticks and is sure to get the run of the race from the inside alley. Will prove very hard to toss again. PRESTAR (5) resumes here but has tuned up for this with two solid trials and did get up to Group 2 level when last in work. Can return a winner. DAMIEN (2) has only missed a drum once in six attempts over this six-furlong journey and will be ready to peak now third-up. Right in this contest. ICARIAN DREAM (10) is one from one over this course and distance and will find this easier than recent Victorian efforts. Forward showing expected. The well-related SYLPH (13) (half to G1 winner Booker) best of the rest.
