COOL MOON (7) won three trials and resumed in a $250,000 Magic Millions Maiden Plate, beaten just 1.4L. Ran her best number beaten a whisker in a Doomben Open 2 and with the extra fitness will give these plenty to worry about. Gollan-trained QUICKZOU (4) has a wide gate to contend with but is well placed with the 7lbs claim for a talented apprentice. Needs luck to go his way but can threaten if that comes. MISS ADRIFT (11) went close at Eagle Farm before the break and placed at the Sunshine Coast first-up. Jumped form the 12 barrier and led them up. Presents fitter and today she maps much better. JUSTA NIGHT OUT (1) debuts for the sharp Vandyke yard and has won both trials with race rider JGC aboard. Draws an inside gate and looks capable of giving plenty of cheek. Gollan-trained CONFORMITY (6) and RECONCILIATE (12) have to be kept onside.
