OUROBOROS (3) added to a frustrating run of minor placings when he led but was bloused late in a $100k feature over 6 ½f at Rockhampton last start. Placed at all four Doomben appearances. This presents a great chance for him to grab an overdue success. MANOLO BLING (2) ran a cracker two back in Listed company at Ipswich then wasn't disgraced in the 6f Ramornie at Grafton last time. Gets beyond six furlongs for the first time which is hard to ignore, but on recent form she is a serious player. TOO MANY THOUGHTS (9) closed well to get up for third when resuming over 6f at this track a fortnight ago. Boasts two wins and two placings from four runs at or around this trip. Likely improver. ITALIAN RIVIERA (6) brings back-to-back wins in easier races to the table. Must step up but his record at this journey is impressive. The in-form TORNADO EXPRESS (12) takes on a better race today but on just 52kgs comes right into calculations.
