Interesting clash between the top two selections with Wells and Darmanin switching mounts. HOULIHAN (2) was a maiden winner here fresh then has been beaten as favourite all three since. Normally shows good speed but drifted back last time and was well off best. Change of rider and worth another chance. GEEGEES MERCEDES (5) was solid here two back then was well off best from a wide gate last time. Returns to the synthetic and off a better draw worth another try. PARTY DAY (4) resuming from a lay-off. Recent trial form very strong including a win at the latest appearance at Devonport Synthetic. Opened last campaign with a second at this track over 5f. in the mix. SUPER SNIPPY (6) has not raced since finishing 4.5 lengths away in fourth over 6f at Hobart on April 12. In the mix fresh.
