XERRI (3) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Gatton over 5 ½f, beaten a long neck. Has a good record here at this journey with four wins and two minor placings from eight starts. Expected to go very well. MR WANDJI (5) was beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth in a 6f contest at Esk at his latest appearance. The engagement of Samantha Pointon is a positive move. Finds a nice race and can atone.
