MISS DE MEDICI (2) is backing up seven days after finishing second over 5 ½f at Warwick. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley. Good effort last start and is expected to go well again. DEEP TIARA (5) ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a neck over 6f at Toowoomba after being prominent at the turn. Well placed and there is no reason why she cannot find winning ways. The well-related ZARIPPA (4) (half to 2xG3 winner I'm A Rippa) took advantage of a low draw last time and stalked the lead before going on to score by a nose over 5 ½f at Warwick. Winning rider Jess Emmerson stays aboard. Should be involved in the finish. STRAIGHT BLAST (3) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing fifth over 6f at this track six-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for a recent trial win. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past and shouldn't be underestimated.
