KAIDA ODORI (5) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6 ½f at Toowoomba after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. MAGNETIC ISLAND (6) wasn't too far away to finish fifth last time out over 6 ¾f at Warwick following a minor placing at Sunshine Coast over 5f the run prior. Draws low and rates among the leading chances. LANGDOWN LEGACY (2) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 6 ½f at Toowoomba, beaten 7 lengths into fifth. Finds a nice race this time and can make amends. ROSE OF CHANTILLY (8) finished 11th at her most recent appearance over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes despite the sticky draw.
