SWEET TREATS (8) slow into stride when she motored late from near last on the turn with a slashing fifth over 7f at Wagga. Saves her best for this track and trip and can put these away. PHILADELPHIA STORM (1) resumed from a lengthy break with a courageous second over 1m at Albury shouldering the 136lbs. Back in good order and capable of going one better. STAR BLAZER (3) failed to keep in touch first-up with a battling tenth over 6 ½f at Echuca. Comes to hand quickly and gets to his pet trip with the claim. Each way. WALK THE PIER (6) set to peak with the winkers going on fourth-up. Snagged back from the wide gate and never got into the contest with a poor tenth over 7 ½f at Hawkesbury. Gets a better set-up for this and has solid prospects.
