CHEF'S KISS (3) failed to keep up early when on debut with a plugging seventh over 5f at Wagga. Can improve further over the extra trip and will take catching with the blinkers going on. TOUGH AS STONE (2) Astern gelding from the good producing mare Dal Dal on debut for the Matt Dale yard. Failed to fire in two trials for the Les Bridge yard and can play a leading role in this company. UNDER WRAPS (4) resumes after starting $1.65 fav on debut with a disappointing seventh over 5f at Wagga last December. Had excuses on that occasion and looks to have strengthened with the one 5f trial placing. Top-three contender. MY MATE ELVIS (10) only the one placing from eleven starts and back in trip today. Can stalk the good tempo and take a hand in the finish.
