MARNOO (1) settled last then came with a mighty finish to grab second as a despised outsider in open company over 6f at Coonamble a fortnight ago. That was his first run for ten months so there is plenty of improvement in store, particularly over an extra 1f today. MOON ZONE (7) continued her excellent form of late with a very close third behind News Hound last time out over this distance at Coonamble. Meets him 1.5 kgs better which might be enough to turn the tables. NEWS BOUND (3) defied the market to record a tough win over today's journey at Coonamble recently. Getting up in the weights but does draw a much better gate so should not be ruled out. THE BENTLEY (4) came from last in the News Hound race to get up for sixth, his first unplaced effort for some time. Each-way chance despite a tricky gate. THE GREAT ARMADA (5) drops back to his favourite distance this afternoon - expect him to play a key role.
