HEY DAISY (2) just missed at Eagle Farm in a CL3 on slow and then raced a $2.7F in a CL2 at the Sunshine Coast and didn't manage the heavy track. Peaks and has been freshened up. She's well-placed to win a country 58. STEFFI ELECTRICA (7) was heavily bet to win a 60 at the Gold Coast on a heavy surface and lacked finishing dash after an awkward start. She's also been given a freshen and has trialled well since last seen. JVO has to navigate a wide barrier, but she'll appreciate the drop in grade and can make the finish with average luck. DEEP STEALTH (8) also draws wide but deserves plenty of consideration fresh. Is proven in that state and has been trialled twice. In a sharp barn, the betting will be key. BOOM BREAK (1) has been kept fresh and led and placed at the Gold Coast last time. Has a handy 7lbs claim and is in the mix.
