VIA VEGAS (4) seeks the hat-trick off comfortable wins at Port Macquarie. Has been heavily bet, and the longer sprint is within his scope. Draws low and will be sitting right on the pace off a brief freshen. Can go on with the job. BABY RYAN (2) just missed here over 7f in a country Championships Qualifier and then raced in the final at Randwick last time and didn't feature at big odds. This suits him much better, and he will go close with average luck from the awkward gate. PRANCING WITH FIRE (3) resumed further improved, beaten a nose in an 82 at Grafton over shorter. Suited stepping up in trip and is proven second-up. Maps for the run of the race and has claims. SUPREME COMMAND (1) won an 82 here over a mile and hasn't been too far away in tougher races since. Has a 4lbs claim and can't be ruled out switching back to a sprint.
