RENTESSIS (1) resumes off heavily bet placings in Victoria. Just missed at Bendigo fresh two back and won his Maiden at Wangaratta prior by 3L on debut. Has a low gate and a handy 4lbs claim, and the blinkers are applied for the first time. Rates tough to beat in this grade. ODIN'S MOUNT (7) went forward and gave a sight placing over 7f at Gold Coast. Led and won a Ballina Maiden by 7.5L before that, on the heavy. Has to push forward from an awkward gate but is well placed with the 7lbs claim. NEWY (2) led and was an easy Maiden winner at Beaumont-Newcastle first-up and followed with an even on-pace run in stronger than this at Gosford. He has a cruel barrier but gets JVO and can get into the finish with average luck. FALL FOR AUTUMN (8) will be around the mark, going on his Port Macquarie placing two back.
