Jumped in class when slow into stride and ridden with cover for a below-par tenth over 6 ¼f at Newcastle. Beautifully placed in this company with Smyth's claim from the good gate. Go close. BENRIACH (8) having his third run back for the new yard and a win looks imminent. Savaged the line from the outside draw with a tidy fourth over 6f at Murwillumbah. Set to peak and can race a touch closer with Palmer's claim. Genuine top three contender. RIVER BISCOTTE (10) never on the track last start when back in trip for a tenacious fifth over 5f at Taree. Was a month between runs on that occasion and gets another chance today. DIRTY DOES IT (9) is due for a change of luck on the quick backup after he finished fourth over 5f at Tuncurry on August 24. Has the wide gate to deal with here and place preferred.
