Verdict

KIRKALL (3) is a handy gelding rewarded for his consistency with a tough win over 7f at Tamworth from the sticky gate. Can go on with it from the good gate and shapes as a genuine winning chance. Those chances have only been strengthened by scratchings this morning. MELATEN (5) sent straight to the front at his fourth run back with a slick on-pace victory over today's course and distance. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. DECADAD (1) returned for his second campaign with a commanding Maiden victory over 5 ¾f at Gold Coast Poly. Harder task this time but expected to measure up. FALL FOR AUTUMN (2) is drawn the outside but has good early speed and fitter again, capable of a solid race.
