Verdict

EGYPTIAN LASS (7) is a five-year-old mare lining up for the 22nd time but such is the quality of this field she looks a good thing. Raced handy and battled on well for another minor placing last start over 5 ¼f at Inverell. Just needs to hold that form to take care of these. KOBI EXPRESS (4) is back for a second campaign following a four-month spell. Showed plenty of natural pace when last in work but struggled to finish his races off. Will go forward from the inside gate and give backers a sight. DAWN RIDER (3) has transferred from Ciaron Maher to Donna Grisedale since failing on debut over 5 ¾f at the Beaumont track in February. Trialled okay recently and should be thereabouts. ARAKOOLA (2) is a locally trained first starter who placed at his only public trial. Expect a decent showing. ANOTHER BLING (1) next best after a couple of plain efforts to kick off this prep.

Racing well recently. At the latest run 3rd in a small field at Inverell Mdn-Sw on June 19 over 5 ¼f, 3 len behind Here's Beau carrying 119lbs at $17. The run before that 4th of 10 at this track Mdn-Sw on June 3 over 5f, on rain affected going, 3.5 len behind Three Red Chooks carrying 119lbs at $15. Not a great draw again but she looks the goods in a very weak maiden.
