SORRENTI (5) brings the best form to the table and should prove too good for this average bunch. Gripped on late in the heavy (10) going with a solid third over 6 ¼f at Ballina. At his top now and ticks plenty of boxes from the good gate. ZWEIGELT (6) caught the eye first up from the outside gate with a narrow fourth over 7 ?f at Grafton. Blinkers go on for this in a fairly ordinary Maiden. Top-three contender. BIRDY GIRL (7) placed two back over this track and trip, then drifted back again in a slowly run contest with a battling eighth over 7f at Tuncurry. Will relish the claim and solid tempo. Place best. LA REGINA (8) fifth up for this and will appreciate the firming surface. Stalked the speed and closed strongly to secure third over 7 ?f at Grafton. Gets in light again and is expected to take a hand in the fin finish.
