BIRDY GIRL (7) placed two back over this track and trip, then drifted back again in a slowly run contest with a battling eighth over 7f at Tuncurry. Will relish the claim and solid tempo. Place best. LA REGINA (8) fifth up for this and will appreciate the firming surface. Stalked the speed and closed strongly to secure third over 7 ?f at Grafton. Gets in light again and is expected to take a hand in the fin finish.
