AU - Cloncurry - Race 3

GREAT COSMIC (1) brings the clearest winning profile, arriving off successive wins at Mt Isa and Birdsville and with six wins from ten starts overall. His 6f record is particularly strong, and the proven partnership with Mitch Goring adds further confidence despite the big impost. On top. SIR LUNCHALOTS (8) is the harder runner to assess on recent form, but the class and weight set-up give him a genuine chance to rebound, especially with a solid record at this distance and on good tracks. ICHIBERU (5) backs up quickly after a sound Jundah second and is honest enough to be a factor again, though this is a stronger assignment. SCHMOOZER (3) won at Longreach last time and has the right jockey-horse record to hold a placing chance if he repeats that effort.
