Verdict

Lightly raced mare DIETRICH (5) returns after a six-month spell. All five runs since her debut have been at the provincials, for two wins and three placings. Opened last prep with a comfortable victory over 5f at Gosford. Trialled in good style recently and this looks well within her reach. GRINZINGER POD (3) closed well to get up for third when resuming over this distance at Gosford four weeks ago. Hasn't scored for a long while but she is back in good order and meets a mediocre field so another big run looks on the cards. RASKOL (6) has been at single digit odds at her last three outings but failed to deliver, most recently here at this trip a fortnight ago. Should be in the market again given the quality of this field - can play a key role without surprising. MISS EMMA (15) led and battled on bravely for a close third over 6f here last start. Should prove tough to catch coming back to 5 ½f. SATIN STILETTO (7) drops back to midweek company and is best of the others.
