AU - Canterbury - Race 3

BLUEPINOT (1) went to the lead in a new role for him last start at Geelong and he responded by registering a second career win. Steps up ¾f in trip which is to his advantage. Won't find this any tougher so he presents as a winning chance again. SARRISMO (2) made it five podium finished from as many career runs when runner-up after leading over 1m at Wyong last time out. Not drawn the best but if he slots in with cover he poses a serious threat. AUTOMNE TREE (3) started favourite but after copping some interference at the beginning of the run home he missed the placings last Wednesday over 7 ½f at Rosehill. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and he won his only race over this course and distance when third-up. BIG TIGER (4) backs up seven days after a tough all-the-way maiden win over 7f at Rosehill. Has only raced twice so there is plenty of upside to this Waterhouse/Bott colt. VIKTOR (5) caught the eye first-up and win appreciate a little more ground today.
