LORD WOOTTON (11) is the top pick after sharp improvement at his second race start, finishing third in a Hawkesbury Mdn over 1 ?m and beaten just under a length by My Cartouche. The first-time blinkers give him another point of upside and the rise in trip looks to suit. Can put it all together today. LIYAH'S GIRL (3) was beaten a neck as favourite last time at this track and trip 35 days ago and has had a Warwick Farm trial since. Maps for a kind run and she can make an impression. MILCHEL (6) was safely held behind Lord Wootton at Hawkesbury, but early interference, weight relief and a sound fourth at this venue two back keep him in the winning mix. RING OF FIRE (2) didn't have the best of luck last start when closing strongly late in the race and the form out of that has worked out nicely. Out in trip looks no issue and he can get back to winning ways. PURE MELODY (4) finished nicely behind Ring Of Fire last start and can't be left out.
