Verdict

POINT ROCKS (1) has been thereabouts without winning but does boast a top record this course and distance winning two of three runs. Gave a sight last time off a wide gate but drawn to take beating this time. MAVIS MYRTLE (11) has been getting back and winding up late and will find this easier than the eighth at Belmont Park last time. Gets a chance to atone. BONDI STAR (4) ran on hard to finish runner-up over the mile fresh and can only strip fitter. Have to include on that great return. HOT LIKE CHILI (10) has been going well over much further. Will be winding up late over this sharper trip. GAV HAS SPOKEN (8) should be at her top now and much better off at this trip.
